Position Overview:
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join their client's team in San Marcos, CA. This is NOT a typical warehouse role- this company provides emergency equipment as needed, so you will have a yard and warehouse where large machines/product are kept. Every day is different, so we need somebody who can adjust accordingly, self manage, and prioritize tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, count, and properly organize incoming inventory, parts, supplies, and equipment, while identifying and reporting any shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Process, issue, transfer, locate, and maintain accurate inventory records using NetSuite or the Company's designated inventory management system.
- Pick, pack, label, stage, and ship parts and equipment to field personnel and Company locations, ensuring all shipping and receiving documentation is completed accurately.
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits, investigate inventory variances, and maintain accurate warehouse, bin, shelf, and yard locations.
- Load and unload deliveries using approved equipment while following established safety procedures and material-handling practices.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping and receiving, material handling, or related operational environments, with the ability to perform assigned duties safely and accurately.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and the ability to accurately enter, update, and maintain inventory and shipping records within an ERP or inventory management system.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures, work instructions, equipment guidelines, product labels, and safety requirements, while promptly communicating discrepancies, hazards, or concerns.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to recognize operational limitations, exercise sound judgment, and seek assistance when tasks exceed assigned training or authorization.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and evolving operational environment.
- Ability and willingness to successfully complete Company-provided or approved powered industrial truck training, evaluation, and certification requirements prior to independent equipment operation.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, First Shift (with occasional travel up to a week)
Benefits:
